Clubman of the Year - Jimmy Clarke
The following is an excerpt from tribute speech by Scott Curyer:
The person who won this award is a bloke who is a new player to this club. He is the type of bloke who, whenever someone neded help around the club, this guy would put his hand up. He has helped on the trailer cooking and looking after the drinks. I think I even remember him doing dishes in a tiny little bucket of cold water coz no one else would.
The biggest this guy did off his own back was become a taxi on Tuesday, Thursday and 90% of Saturdays. Without this guy, training would not happen. He would pick Heath, Rusty and myself up every week, carry and look after equiptment for training. He would sit around waiting for selection to finish so he could take us home. And we all know how much he loves a beer.
So this year's clubman of the year is Jimmy 'Shuffles' Clarke.
