New Season Captains & Competition

The Keswick Committee is please to announce that the following Captains have been appointed for the upcoming season. The First game is a one-day game for all grades on Saturday 8th October. Please let one of the Captains know your availability if you cannot get to training before the season.
UPDATE: The Keswick Committee is please to announce and would to congratulate Robbo on his appointment as the C grade captain. Baz and Doc will now captain the D and E grade sides (both of which play in the 7+7 competition). Please give all the captains your full support on and off the field. What’s section 7/7 you say?
This season the Association has agreed to trial a new format in section 7 which will consist of 8 teams (Keswick having 2) each team will play 7 normal 2 day games & 7 one-day games through the season.
As mentioned this is a trial for this year and seeing that Keswick had pushed for this format we have taking the decision to support it by suppling two sides. Some details regarding selection and finals qualification still need to be clarified, but we hope you the players will embrace and support the concept and help us prove to other clubs in the Association that it can work.
As you will see we are still looking for a captain for the other team in this comp, so if you’re interested please contact the committee.
