Ross Ormsby 200 games
He is known for having the best hair to have ever played Adelaide & Suburban and this game Ross Ormsby plays his 200th game still without having a hair out of place!
Ross debuted for the club back in 92/93 in Division six against Sheidow Park having never played a game of cricket before. Since that time Ross has amassed over 3500 runs with 2000 of those runs being in Division 1. To go with his runs Ross has also taken 100 wickets and taken numerous catches. Ross has amassed 119 A grade games in his total of 200 games having been a constant and integral part of the A grade for many years.
Ross has won numerous fielding trophies and is best remembered for his three match winning catches in the 1996 B grade premiership. Ross has also been a past winner of the prestigious JJ Hepinstall trophy and the Players choice trophy for the best player in the club. Ross has also been a long serving committee member and has also won the Brian Part best clubman of the year award. For Ross’s years of service to the club he is also a Keswick life member.
Ross is still a valued club member and here’s hoping he can play his next 200 without having a hair out of place. Congratulations Ross.
